For this purpose experts were invited to visit TIFR, Mumbai, in the period 5 December 2007 to 4 January 2008. In addition, the                     Eleventh workshop on Quantum Information Processing  (QIP 2008) was organized at the India International Centre, New Delhi (17--21 December 2007).
